Dr. Carrie Pisklak
A lifelong Texan, Dr. Carrie Pisklak was raised in Dallas. She attended Texas A&M University in College Station where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and graduated with the honor of Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Pisklak received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she earned numerous scholastic awards and graduated with the honor of Summa Cum Laude. Upon completing her dental training, she was accepted into residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where she received a Master of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Pisklak is Board Certified who takes an active role in exceeding the standards of her profession. She is an active member of many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society. She has been in private practice since 2002.
In February 2006, Dr. Pisklak became one of the youngest orthodontists in the country to become board-certified. This prestigious certification is given by the American Board of Orthodontics to those orthodontists who undergo intense examination and presentation of treated orthodontic cases.
Dr. Pisklak and her husband, Ben, are blessed with three beautiful children, Katie, Abby and Connor. Dr. Pisklak provides volunteer services at her church, Chapelwood United Methodist, Boys & Girls Country and the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance. Away from the office, she enjoys saltwater fishing, snow skiing and traveling.
